The Nano Saber is an advanced sword with infinite durability but limited power. The "use" mouse button (default right click) toggles it on and off. When on, it uses EU but inflicts 10 hearts of damage in one hit. When off, however, it only does 1 heart of damage.
It stores a maximum of 40,000 EU, able to be charged by an MFE, MFSU or Charging Bench (MK2 or MK3). It can also be charged using a LapPack when equipped on the torso armor section. It is the only weapon capable decharging Nano Armor at a very fast rate, though many other weapons are able to damage a user in it as well. It is not effective against quantum armor any more than a similarly high damage weapon is. It is capable of destroying fully charged Nano Armor in one hit, though this is rarely found in tests. (Found 2 positive out of 1500 total, which is ~0.133% percent of the time.)
- Giants, Zombies, Endermen, Iron Golems, large Magma Cubes and Slimes, Zombie Pigmen and the Enderdragon are the only mobs that can survive a hit with a Nano Saber on.
- Sometimes in multiplayer and singleplayer, the Nano Saber, when activated by clicking "use", will flash in between the "on" and "off" textures. It will also appear to slide on and off the screen, as if scrolling through items in the hotbar. It will still consume power while glitching out, and will stop flashing when right clicking to turn the Saber off. So far, there is no confirmed way that always works to get around this (one way that has worked for some is to right-click on an open reinforced door *Needs Testing*). In the Latest Build of Tekkit as of 11-16-12 This bug is almost fixed and barely noticeable. However, there are more bugs to the list.
- Sometimes a duplication glitch occurs when dropping a Nano Saber while carrying an Alchemy Bag with an activated Black Hole Band in its inventory.
