The Transmutation Tablet has two types that can be crafted: the placeable and the holdable variant. This page is about the holdable Transmutation Tablet which is distinguishable by it is 2D-looking texture, while the placeable Transmutation Tablet has a 3D-looking texture. The holdable Transmutation Tablet is an item that can be opened by right-clicking it in your hand.
Usage
The advantage of the holdable Transmutation Tablet is that you don't need to put a Transmutation Tablet down every time you want to use it and you don't need to be near one.
For the basics on what the holdable Transmutation Tablet can do it is advised to familiarize yourself with the wiki page of the Transmutation Tablet first.
The holdable Transmutation Tablet works the same as a placeable Transmutation Tablet. Another player can't access the contents of your holdable Transmutation Tablet. The things you've learned to your placeable Transmutation Tablet carry over to the holdable variant and vice versa. The same goes for the EMC stored inside.
